Board of Director’s Meeting Minutes

Monday June 16, 2025

  1. NATS 2025 –July 28 is the pilots meeting. Jacques Telles is the CD and it will be in Muncie, IN. 23 People are signed up so far. We need judges for the event. Sponsors are being worked on. Adi Kochav will be the chief judge for the event. Practice will be limited for the first 2 days(No Rollers). The Brick for Horel has been secured.
  2. Website – We are working on different options and will present them to the board next month.
  3. Website Update. We have requested help from a 3rd Party Firm to work on a new website. We will have an update in Mid-June.
  4. 2026 Knowns – We are hoping to have these out sooner this year so pilots can have a chance to see them prior to the season. We are shooting for a smaller footprint for all the classes.
  5. IJS 2026 – Possibly doing IJS at Triple Tree Aerodrome. Will set dates and vote on this in August 2025.
  6. Intro to IMAC Online Meeting – We want to introduce IMAC to clubs around the world. Kevin will develop the program and we will discuss in August.
  7. Worlds 2026 Update – Shipping Planes to the venue is possible with prior arrangement. Airplanes and transmitters will be available for rent for those needing them. Worlds are on track. Dates will be July 15-18 2026. We will have 10 airplanes for rent for the contest and sharing can be arranged. Registration will commence at the end of June.
  8. 2025 Budget/Treasurers Report – Alex July 21, 2025 $43, 765.51
  9. Regional Updates –
    1. NW looking for Scoring Boxes and our next contest is in 2 weeks. We are having contests in Utah and regionals in September. EIMAC will be in Utah as well.
    2. SW N/A
    3. SC NATS warmup was last weekend in Salina KS. Well attended and used the scoring boxes with no real issues. 100 degree heat with high winds but we persevered.
    4. NE N/A
    5. Europe – Manrico is traveling to Turkey and other spots in Europe. Saudi Arabia as well.
    6. SE Great season so far with 6 contests so far and great participation. New Contest in Tennessee. 9 more contests to go.
    7. LA People are excited about the worlds next year. Participation is up this year and contests are occurring. Mexico is having contests as well as Columbia and Argentina are coming alive.
    8. AP – Going well in Australia, will try to push in to Asia. More competitions coming up.
