Board of Director’s Meeting Minutes

Absent: Michael Hobson. Oliver Soto, Amanda Darling (Item #1)
1. SC Regional Director – Amanda Darling had resigned shortly before meeting via email, and the BOD voted to accept her resignation. The BOD also voted to ask Rich Whitlow to be the interim RD for the South-Central Region until after the term is complete and Tim Hughes of SC takes the position as of January 1st, 2023.
2. Election Finalization points – NC is the only contested region at this time and a full slate of officers has been nominated for 2023. UPDATE POST MEETING: NW will also have an election.
3. IMAC document changes prior to Jan 1 – IMAC documents, i.e.: IMAC Contest Standards, IRPS Points Series, Senior Points Series, CD Contest Check List, Novice Class Document, Novice Class Invite Flyer, Known/Unknown/Freestyle Score Sheets. These will be checked for any updates needed prior to January 1st, 2023. Also, Rick Crow will investigate with AMA to change the rules surrounding the 10% rule and the conflicting lines in current rules related to this issue.
4. General Discussion – We have a flyer developed for the IJS in 2023. Also, electronic scoring has been updated and appears to be working well. We will continue to develop documentation and tutorial videos to be distributed. Toby and JT are still working on this in tandem with development and beta testing.

Regional Reports
NE – Season has wrapped up and good attendance at the regionals. 6 First timers at regionals. We will be putting on a boot camp in Delaware.
SE – Great year so far with a lot of new pilots and 3 more events. We will be using the new scoring system at an event soon.
NC – Good season so far, had an injury during a contest with a prop strike but quick action saved the pilot’s finger. A lot of new pilots
NW – 1 Contest left with regionals coming up. One nominee for RD Gordon Wilhelm.
EU – Finishing up our competitions but coming back after COVID. Next years finals will be in Poland.
SC – (Delivered by Doug) 4 more contests coming up to complete the season of 12 Comps total.
SW- 1 more contest with the shootout and regional finals to follow.
