- Canadian Update – As of this time they are unable to have contests until this is resolved.
- US Nat’s – Kevin Garland will be helping with sponsorships. Pilots from all regions are signing up. SWAG will be available for all registered pilots. Primo Reports he and Tony Stillman are working on contacting all the registered food trucks now and finding out those that are interested in working with us at the Nats. Also: we will send out an email to local clubs within 100 miles of Muncie to see if they will help with practice sites for IMAC. I am still working on sponsors for the NATS.
- General Business – Can we do RPS for freestyle within our own regions? Yes, on a region by region basis.

NE –
SE –
NC –
NW – 9 Pilots for the weekend and next contest is in 2 weeks. All is well.
EU –
SC –All contests are now open for registration. One contest had to be cancelled. Next contest is in El Paso with 14 Pilots. 6 or 7 pilots are talking about going to the NATS.
SW- 2 contests have been held with the next one in Utah and then the event in May in El Paso, TX with SC.
AP – Some of you will have seen a reasonably active discussion on the IMAC Australia FB page regarding the scale rule and requirement that out models be replicas of IAC competition aircraft. I think this discussion has revealed some flaws in the updated wording that was recently adopted. I will come back to the BOD shortly with some alternative wording that I think will achieve what we were trying to achieve but there is no particular urgency to address this.
LA – Region is waking up. Mexico is opening up. Many new pilots in Mexico. 3 contests will be held in the next month in different countries.

- Website Update – Progress is being made on the website. Events page update will be Dan has some assistance with the website as well.
- Website functionality and Regional Director Duties – Keep all score files in Dropbox for now. This will allow Dan to have access to those results. Regional Directors need to send the zipped score files for your contests to Alex. Please create articles for your regions.
- Rules change – We have received a proposal to change rule 6 on Scale Aircraft. Michael Hobson asked what problem we are trying to solve. Primo feels there is historical data to drive the direction and decision of changing rule 6 and wants time to resurrect the historical notes. This was tabled for this meeting and the rules committee will take this up.
- US Nat’s – Good attendance so far and electronic scoring will be used. Banquet is set up already. Primo is looking at food during the event. Breakfast may be in the works also. Please plan on attending. SWAG is being worked on as well.
- Flight Data Recorders – This is becoming popular with many pilots. The intent of the FLIGHTLOGGER is to provide static flight data AFTER the pilot lands, pulls the SD card loads the data into the PLOTTER. Kevin Garland indicated this device can be plugged into the receiver to ENHANCE and/or CONTROL the flight real time. Rules specifically prohibit FLIGHT ENHANCING devices in IMAC airplanes during a competition. With increased popularity of the FLIGHT LOGGER device we will need to develop a response.
- Non-Profit Status – We are incorporated in North Carolina; The Officers have been updated in North Carolina. We have also updated the Bank of America account as well with the new officers. We can now register for non-profit status with Microsoft.

- IRPS 2023 – Final Draft presented by SW RD for a change to the current IRPS to line out a bonus points system for pilots competed against within a given contest. The final new IRPS Points system document will be added to the website by Doug and JT will announce to the membership.
- Mass Registration – Began in 2019 was supposed to go for 2 years. With the new website we may need to change this process. Should this be continued? Discussion was held on this topic.
