- Website Update – IRPS is working, Imports work now. All RD’s have the ability to import scores. Points update every 15 minutes. Email has been migrated to a new host. Microsoft 365 is working and setup.
- Electronic Judging – Several folks are working on the updates to the system. This is being used around the country with good success. Great cooperation amongst the development team.
- US NATS – 16-19 July 2024 – Muncie, IN we will have 2 sites this year.

Brazil just pushed back the nationals due to lack of competitors because of some domestic economic issues.
Hopefully they'll get back on track in january - february
The Del Norte Fly Fest is around the corner.
The contestants we will be having are building the most impressive lineup seen in the region.

- Website Update – Dan advised that the IRPS is working in Beta and will be released soon. There are still some minor issues being worked through.
- Electronic Judging – Several folks are working on the updates to the system. This is being used around the country with good success. Great cooperation amongst the development team.
- Sound RFA Progress – The committee has proposed changes to the K-Factors and scoring criteria. Kevin, Primo, and Michael. The official RFA passed.

- Website Update – Dan Advised that the IRPS is close to being ready for the website.
- Discussion on exactly how to calculate the RPS. Per the rules we stop calculating RPS after the regional final.
- Pilots changing classes during the year will only have points calculated based on their profile.
- Can we have an email to alert folks to those having issues with the website?
- Electronic Judging – Several folks are working on the updates to the system. This is being used around the country with good success. Great cooperation amongst the development team.
- Sound RFA Progress – The committee has proposed changes to the K-Factors and scoring criteria. Kevin, Primo, and Michael to come back to September meeting with official RFA to be presented.
- Regional Money for Regionals – Motion made to allot $1000 for regional finals for all regions. Motion passed.
- US Nat’s –. Nats went off well with 44 pilots. A great success.

NE – Fields are being lost due to encroachment. Concord contest was held a couple of weeks ago. Regional finals have been lost and the event will be rescheduled. Plum Island contest will be this weekend.
SE – Great attendance at events. Regionals will be a big event, at the Mac Hodges event. Electronic scoring is working well.
NC – Electronic scoring is working well. 26 pilots at the Muncie contest this past weekend. 2 more contests to go then regionals.
NW – 16 Pilots attended the Silver Hills contest and the Canadians attended. Our next contest will be the regional FINALS IN Sept.
EU – Europeans in August. Next contest is in July. Judging schools are being held. Spain is starting to fly again.

SW- Chino contest this past weekend, electronic scoring worked well. 2 more contests then Regionals in November.

LA – New memberships coming in. 2 zones in Mexico are active and guests are coming to contests. Brazil will start to become active. A large competition is being planned.

1. Website Update – We have just published a large update to the website. Unknown Manager is
now active. Region pages now link directly to events. Score files are now downloadable from the
event page. Flyers are now able to upload. Dan is now working on the results upload. Members
can now see their IMAC number in their profile on the website.
2. Feedback from Southeast Contest on Electronic Scoring Beta – Units worked flawlessly with no
complaints from the judges. Functionality and speed was excellent. Time saved entering scores
is vastly reduced. Judges are still required to use paper backups.
3. NE Region – Fields are being lost due to noise and encroachment. How can we bring in new
pilots? New pilots have joined but aren’t willing to travel to other contests.
4. US Nat’s – Alex has been talking to HQ in Muncie, around 42 Pilots have signed up so far. Kevin
Garland will be helping with sponsorships. Pilots from all regions are signing up. Pilot cups have
been delivered to AMA site in Muncie. Primo reports, he and Tony Stillman are working on
contacting all the registered food trucks now and finding out those that are interested in
working with us at the NATS. We will send out an email to local clubs within 100 miles of
Muncie to see if they will help with practice sites for IMAC. We will be buying a brick for Ben
Batts.
5. RFA 2023-002- Introduced for Board approval. A lot of good discussion was had, and the motion
was sent back to the committee for further modification.
6. IMAC Israel Report from Adi – IDO Segev Cup 2023. Very successful event with thousands of
spectators. Pilots from all over the world came and used the 3 airplanes purchased especially for
the event. IMAC is the leading discipline in Israel for RC Aircraft.

NE – Fields are being lost due to encroachment. We are having smaller turnouts, but we are keeping
interest up as much as possible. State College may need to be cancelled. Maine contest next month.
SE – 3 brand new contests this year. Averaging 15-17 pilots per contest. Electronic Scoring is working
well.
NC –
NW – 3 Contests so far, we have another coming up this week in Othello. Turnout has been light so far.
EU – Europeans in August. Next contest is in July. Judging schools are being held. Spain is starting to fly
again.
SC –
SW- 1 Contest in California. All is going well.
AP –
LA – Opened 2 new regions this year. Judging clinics are being held. Many contests are being held in the
continent. Membership is increasing and more pilots are competing.

- Website Update – We have just published a large update to the website. Unknown Manager is now active. Region pages now link directly to events. Score files are now downloadable from the event page. Flyers are now able to upload. Dan is working on the next update that will include the score file upload and tabulation for IRPS projected time of completion for IRPS update is June.
- Safety/Emergency Contacts – We need to be conscious of our emergency contacts when we are at a contest or flying in general. Should the RD’s keep such a list? Can we send an email to the members asking for their emergency contact to be updated? JT to draft a letter to be put in the newsletter for members to verify their profiles.
- Contest Standards – Sometimes a lack of available pilots presents an issue where we may not have enough qualified judges. We may need to be creative when this situation occurs at the smaller contests.
- Ido Segev Cup – This was a very successful event and can set the standard for future events to attract younger pilots. Freestyle can be the entrée into IMAC. Manrico is asking for an exception to host another event like this in Europe. Motion was made to allow Manrico to host this event in August 2024. Motion passed.

SE – A lot of contests are coming up, NATS is a big push this year. Freestyle is a big draw at contests. 2 new contests this year. Regionals will be a big event this year.
NC –
NW – 2 Contests so far, we have another coming up this week in Boise. Turnout has been light so far. We expect things to move along well as the season progresses.
EU – We will have 125 pilots in Poland. We have good turnouts at our contests. War is having an influence. IMAC is going well.
SC –
SW- Combined event in El Paso was a big success. Events are coming up in California and a lot of folks are going to NATS.
AP –
LA – Argentina is experiencing inflationary pressure. But we still see good numbers for contests. Two Contests coming in Mexico. Chile had their first national competition.
